...at least from 2 to 8 PM
After kissing and saying goodbye to Annabella and Sofia (who, by the way, was just as interested in hugging and kissing her own "Nittany Lion Shrine"), we set off for our sept-annual (is that a word?) trek to Happy Valley. Joining us were the usual suspects - the Ridenours and the Wagners.
We set up the tailgate area by staking out our territory - and making sure we had all of the important decorations, including the lights that were not bright enough until the sun went down (and we went into the game) and the PSU jack-o-lantern courtesy of the Ridenours.

The menu for this week? King crab legs, Italian spiced shrimp, bacon-wrapped scallops, and homemade freshly baked apple pie. Mmmm......

While the tailgate, when done right, can be an event unto itself, a football game is as well - again, when done right...... Below is the only good picture I got from the game.
... and then it all went downhill from there.....
Yesterday before we it was time to get ready for trick-or-treat, sofia thought she would try out her antenna's to her lady bug costume. some of these were just too cute not to share.
We don't totally have the hang of this yet, but at least we're starting the process. (Note: when I say "we" I really just mean Sofia - Tiff and I do have the hang of it by now. You know what I mean.)
Anyway, if you're going to chronicle every milestone on your blog, you have to include this too, don't you?
The Fanelli Family had a fun day at the park - Delgrosso's Amusement Park, that is - for Harvestfest. Sofia was not quite sure of the petting zoo, especially when the animals started to press in on her. But she did start to really enjoy the rides. Hopefully, you will enjoy her enjoying the rides as much as we did!
